Minister’s Decision
With respect to the Amherst Island wind project, on April 20, 2018 the Minister of the Environment and Climate Change confirmed the decision of the Environmental Review Tribunal that the Appellant had not met its onus under s. 145.2.1(3) of the EPA to prove that engaging in the Project in accordance with the REA will cause serious and irreversible harm to the environment or serious harm to human health.
